Suhaila is an incredibly talented 10-year-old who lives in Mambo village in the Tanzanian Mountains of Usambara. She lives with her grand mother as her parents divorced few years back, both founded new families an moved to Dar Es Salaam. Suhaila is quite lucky as she lives not too far from the public primary school and she attends Standard 4. She is very gifted in Mathematics and Science. Her great memory and fast learning makes her an excellent student in every subject.
This January is her last chance of switching from public to private school as after the 4th grade it becomes way too difficult for kids to catch up with the level in various subjects and  English. Her grand mother despite living a modest life is involved in Suhaila’s education, she spent several months asking the managers of Sisterhood Land project for Suhaila to be able to participate in the tutoring program.
