With year round tutoring program,  we are buying the school essentials like notebooks, pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and rulers.

For a primary school student the yearly cost is – $30

– 20 pencils and 20 pens
– 1 sharpener, 3 rubbers, 1 ruler
– 20 exercise books and few coloring books

For a secondary school student the yearly cost is – $50

– 20 counter books (Q3)
– 20 pencils and 30 pens
– 2 sharpener, 10 rubbers – 1 geometry kit
-English – Swahili dictionary

Most of the families can’t afford to buy any stationary supplies for their children, except for the ones absolutely mandatory for the kids to go to public school.
